Dragoncaller REM: Cooking with Dragonmeat

TL:DR- Rii and Ideal are the best rolls in this REM. Most 6 stars are useable, tri color 5 stars are great situational subs.

We’ve got some rare ingredients coming up in this special pantry delivery, the Dragoncaller REM. At the cost of 10 stones per random dragoncaller, you can create your own special dishes from a variety of these slices and cuts of reptile flesh. Those who are lucky might get the higher grade cuts: kobe style with magnificent marbling. Those unlucky ones may just have to deal with some more standard cuts. But don’t worry, as with all cuts of delicious meat, I’m here to help you find a use for them. Let’s take a look at them:

5 Star cuts

Yeah, this sounds fancy, except that this is the lowest end cut you’ll get from dragons. You don’t think our suppliers would deliver anything less than a 5 star, would you? But, the best cuts are the 7 star ones. There’s use for all of them, I’ll give you a quick reference table:

NameNo. 6KiriShazelRathiosKulia
Active Skill No skyfall combos for 1 turn. Randomly spawn 7 Fire orbs from non Fire orbs. Change all enemies attributes to Fire. ( Ignores status shield ) Reduces cooldown of other skills by 1 turn. Change left-most column into Light orbs and the right-most column into Fire orbs. Increases time limit of orb movement by 1 second for 2 turns. Change left-most column into Water orbs and the right-most column into Dark orbs.

Summary OpinionAmazing damage dealer when you need it for lots of the end game content as most things are God type. However, be careful as you will run into null/void, you may want a skill that can help the killer awokens hurt you. Very good farming lead as well.Dragon Killers are useful, what's really her more useful part might actually be using her on Minerva cheese teams. Very much like Charite, the Blue Puppeteer, she changes the element to fire. Super useful in something like ultimate Hera Rush. Drawback of the skill is that he takes away dark orbs which means that it negates lots of possible teams like Spam musubi unless you inherit over it. You can also use him for 7x6 boards if you want to, but his multiplier is low when he is the leader.Interestingly enough, this is an equipment evolution. The active is great for leads like Ilm, which gives you the exact colors you need to trigger leader skills. Extremely niche use.I think she's a great lead for newer players to use. It will teach you things you will need to master near the end game: color requirement matching and high combo requirement matching. You get the base multiplier by hitting the color combos, but you also get extra bonuses for hitting 7c or more. However, she's also useful for Dark Athena.
Super Awoken OpinionL unlock for more damage if you want that. Otherwise Board restrict.Fire resist for easier cheese. There are many other FUA subs.Team HP for most flexible. L Unlock for more Damage, Cloud resist situational.N/Adouble 7c only option imo. Team rcv next. Cloud again, situational.

The Tri color rolls are all similar with some variation in actives, the best part of them is the triple killer, totally use them for specific rushes like devil rush as a sub for your team. The Light roll is really just an enhancer, probably best used as an inherit. Dark 5 star from this REM roll isn’t awful as a lead, but you could do better.

6 Star cuts

Now that we got most of the lower end cuts out of the way, I’ll talk about the 6 star cuts. They’ll each get their own little mini recipe card:

Dragoncaller: Enra (The gullet cut)

High hp, attack, some rcv, pretty standard for red as they are usually attacker types.

Some advantages of Enra is that it’s unbindable, and works well with high combo counts with her triple 7c, which red has plenty of board changers to choose from that aren’t as uncommon to have if you’ve been playing for a while.

Super Awokens:

She’s already really strong with her triple 7c. If you just want to focus more damage on blasting through stuff and not worry about HP thresholds, the ATK when HP is higher SA  would be the pick. L-Unlock is more damage as well.

If you’re wanting her as the lead here are some sample subs for her to use on your team

Napoleon

In general your subs supplementing her should either assist in: orb changers to fire, board change, or even skyfall buff.  You do need some rcv or some form of healing though. If you’d like to see a more detailed recipe card for her please let me know and I’ll see what I can do.

If you want to test her out as a sub try her in these teams.

Overall I think she will be a fun new ingredient to cook with or add on to for your dishes.

Dragoncaller: Weld(The Gallbladder)

Weld’s evo form is actually an assist evo. It’ll work great on something like Blue Hunter or even Enra. I suppose you could play him unevo’d but overall this is a pretty underwhelming roll for 10 stones.

Dragoncaller Tadis (The butterfly cut)

Some more Green TPA! The active is really interesting as it is only 1 turn cooldown and gives 1 second extra move time. Keep in mind this overrides any movetime debuff and is a consideration for replacing Gunma in Anubis teams! The 3 team RCV awokens can really help with healing up if your board is bad and you only have one heart combo available.

If you are leading him you’ll always be able to have his skill ready to use for the extra attack bonus on his leader skill.

Super Awokens:

TPA or Void Pierce are both better options than the HP ATK bonus. Void Pierce would probably be my choice since green is lacking REM options in that department, your two farmable green void pierce would be Pixel Brachy and Alraune.

Some sub ideas for him as a leader.

This is not meant to be a full recipe. If you wish to see a full recipe for this cut of meat please let me know.

He’ll also fit perfectly fine on these teams.

Dragoncaller Rii (The Tail cut)

Normally, I advocate cooking one ingredient many different ways if possible. However, this ingredient is super special. So special that I would almost say there is only ONE way to use this ingredient.

This is basically the miracle berry. What I mean by that is it changes the way things are. Basically, take any 7×6 board leader that can somewhat work as a sub on your team. Then, go into the dungeon with Rii’s active on your real leader and you can have a 7×6 board. Think about having something like Anubis x Anubis on a 7×6 board without needing to pair diabolos. There’s really only one key use for her, and that’s to make any dungeon 7×6.

Dragoncaller Nees (Brisket)

Nees is a cross lead…but with 7c awakenings. I have no idea why. She is insanely tanky in terms of HP- 9k, wtf.

Super Awokens:

Yo dawg, I heard you like stats. I think either 7c or Team HP would  be good picks, depending on what you need her to do, both Scroll resist just pales in comparison to these other ones.

If you want to lead with her consider some of these subs

I believe however, that adding her as an ingredient to Spam musubi is really delicious. And she works with some other popular teams too. I personally have been using her on Kamimusubi and with the max HP heal and orb change it’s a great use on top of my green Neys.

7 Star cut

Dragoncaller Ideal: The Tenderloin.

The rarest of the rare cuts of the dragon. She is wonderfully flexible and great as a lead or sub as well as having great stats overall.

Super Awokens:

Ideal is already really strong, maybe that’s why she didn’t get amazing super awokens. I went for the HP bonus and just moved on .

Here’s some rough suggestions for running her as a lead. She’s pretty much full on glass cannon, her team awakens might help, but because she doesn’t have leader skill that adds a shield it worries me a little.

Her own Leader skill is a full board change, depending on which version you want to use you’re either color matching or just straight out comboing. Both of them are really powerful, but I’d honestly prefer the team awakens with hp due to the lack of an leader skill shield. The extra 3s movetime is also really strong for everyone.

Basically you can slot her in as a sub on any team that would use a dkali or need a board change.

Dragon caller: digestif

In conclusion, this one’s actually pretty good to do a few rolls. Aim for Rii for longevity use. Ideal may seem fun and exciting but lacks in departments of staying power and low effective HP. Don’t feel bad if you roll any of the 5 stars as they all have a use. The bonus in this REM is the evo’d Neys. I didn’t list them here since they are not unique to this REM only, but they are also all good to have.
