Indian 1 Pantheon

Indian food is more than just curry, Puzzle and Dragon’s Indian 1 Pantheon is also more than just 1 flavor. Some of them are still the best of what they do, despite being an older pantheon.

Awokens and Skills

Awokens:

Super Awoken Options:

Active Skill: Reduce enemies’ defense by 75% for 1 turn. Effects carry forward on sweep. Enhance Fire & Heart orbs. +6% per orb, up to +180% for full board. (Max 7 turns)

Key Points:

  • In the Awoken/Reincarnated version the defense break is only 75% and not a full one. If you are looking for a full defense break do not go the awoken/revo route.
  • High attack with a low base skill, if you need to inherit a nuke or something over a high ATK unit, this can be an option.

Fitting in

Active is situational. If you are running a leader that needs 5 enhanced fire orbs, then he can help with hitting that activation. He’s got a strong attack and not too shabby HP, you will have to be a bit careful with RCV. Shiva can be the offensive powerhouse for your team if you need one. The two base TPA and his high attack should contribute nicely to most fire type teams. Overall, it’s okay to inherit a skill over him unless you really need his defense reduction skill.

JP version:

Super Awoken Options

Active Skill: Inflict damage equal to ATK x50 to 1 enemy, and drain 100% of the damage you dealt. Affected by enemy element and defense. Randomly spawn 5 Heart orbs from non Water & Heart orbs. (Max 8 turns)

Key Points:

  • Is much more valuable after the JP awoken changes.
  • 5 Hearts on her active = FUA

I think the only Super Awoken worth taking on her is the Unbindable one. The nuke is not that good, the key point of her skill is the 5 hearts, this will get you a FUA, barring any shenanigans on your board like locked orbs. For Yusuke teams you can definitely use Yusuke’s active into Lakshmi’s active to have a 2 color board with 5 hearts, provided you don’t get board screwed on your first board change -count your light orbs before using it!

Fitting in

Lakshmi’s skill is there to help you setup FUAs, which she will have her own of when we get the JP version update in the future. Right now you will need another unit to carry the FUA awoken to be able to maximize her usage. You will need to be careful that if you need specific colors to activate that she will not take away that one orb you needed to activate. Until she gets her FUA awoken it’s probably best to use her as an inherit for FUA situations.

Awokens and Skills

Awokens:

Super Awokens:

Active Skill: Change Water orbs to Heart orbs. Enhance Wood & Heart orbs. +6% per orb, up to +180% for full board.  (Max 5 turns)

Awkward choices on the awokens, the active skill is a heart maker with an enhance rider on it. With the Healing Orb OE change, a 4 match enhanced orb can be really all you need. Her attack is fairly decent, especially with the 3 TPA and she can help bind clear. For Super Awokens maybe the FUA2 can be more handy than the TPA, but I don’t think she’s worth going super awoken for. She’s probably currently the weakest of this group.

Fitting in

She is a balanced type so she can take any killer. With TPA focused teams she can be workable, such as a Tardis team. She’s mostly the “cleric” sub for her role, with heart orbs and a high RCV. The orb change can also help setup FUAs if need be.

Indra, in the mood for Samosas.

Awokens and Skills

Awokens:

Super Awokens:

Active Skill: 75% damage reduction for 2 turns. Reduces cooldown of other skills by 1 turn. Max 13 turns.

Overall he’s a strong unit, 3 TE, 2 SBR and 2 TPA for his baseline awakens. For his stats he is has a good amount of HP, his other stats are a bit lower. The most important part for Indra is his shield. It is one of the strongest shields that lasts multiple turns, plus it has a haste rider on it. A common use is to tank preemptive strikes . He’s not really worth getting to super awoken.

Fitting in

Indra is usually used as an inherit these days. However, he can still be used as a sub if your team doesn’t have the skill boosts on the team to have the shield ready when you need it. The skill is also a good emergency button if you don’t have a good board and need to combo it out to clear it while you tank the hits.

Awokens

Super Awokens

Skill:Deal Dark damage to all enemies based on player’s HP %. ATK x40 at 100% HP up to ATK x200 at 1 HP. Affected by enemy element and defense. Dark attribute ATK x2 for 1 turn. Max 8 turns.

4 rows if that matters. His super awokens are mostly situational, and not worth doing. He does have a God Killer to help. With the new Satan Evolution out, he could be a good unit to use for that team given the synergy between dropping team HP to one and getting a 200x ATK nuke right after.

Fitting in

Like Indra, he is usually used as an inherit. He will see less play as a base unit due to the fact that he fits in more specific teams rather than a blanket catch all as his skill revolves around HP thresholds. His most popular use is for specific button teams for co op farming.
